With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Shortsleeve (Vergennes, Vermont), who passed away on June 4, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Langeway and Stella Langeway (LaFlam); her husband Russell; her daughter Sharon; her brother Hosea; and her sister-in-law Gloria.
She is survived by: her children, George of New Haven, Diane of Ferrisburgh and Susan of South Burlington; and her grandchildren, April (Zach Spraker), Jeremy Shortsleeve of Milton, VT, Daniel (Stephanie Sweet), Rebecca (Justin Fitzsimmons), Heather (Matthew Crowley), Jonathan (Ashley Wainer) and Tyler (Lindsay Wainer).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department, the Vergennes Area Rescue Squad or a charity of your choice in her memory.
