She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Evans and Dorothy Evans (Bodette); her husband John Quesnel; her sister Barbara Handte (Evans); her daughters, Stacy Paquin and Sasha Bradford; and her grandchildren, Dustin (Devon Bradford), Ryan Paquin (Anya Sonwaldt), Dylan Bradford, Kyra Bradford, Kaelin Sullivan, Devin Bradford and Trevon Smith.

Joan's love for her grandchildren and any child for that matter was proven month after month with her generous donations to St. Jude.

“To my beloved Aunt Joan… On the one year anniversary of your passing, my heart still aches for not being in your life the previous 17 years due to the selfish and psychotic acts of your daughter, Sasha Bradford (Quesnel) who divided our family by her self centered and criminal motivations that revolved around money! I’m so grateful for my cousin, Stacy, who is and always has been, like a sister to me and exposed a lot of what I already thought about Sasha. I love and miss you, Aunt Joanie!”
