He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford G. Douglas and Amelia Douglas (Amoriello); his brother Stephen; and his significant other Effie Cole. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Chamberlain (Todd), Michael Douglas (Heather) and Matthew Douglas; his grandchildren, Grace, Adrian, Madison, Mackenzie, Vincent and Eliza; his brother Ronald Douglas (Debra); his children, Cevin (John) and Charles (Karen); his grandchildren, CJ (Rachel), Andrew (Nikki), Justin (Madison), Karlaysia, Karwan and Joe'l; and his great grandchild Isabella.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home (48 S Maple St, Vergennes, VT 05491). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Church (85 S Maple St, Vergennes, VT 05491).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vergennes Area Rescue Squad.
