It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Griffin Hobart (Underhill, Vermont), who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Griffin and Marion McLaren Griffin; her children, Miles Irving Hobart and Phyllis Hobart Eldred; her husband Irving Hobart (Bud); and her siblings, Mona Griffin Johnson (Ward Johnson) and Stanley Griffin (Hilda Griffin).
She is survived by: her son Kyle Jonathan Hobart (Sarah Hobart); her granddaughters, Katherine Hobart (Chris Knauer) and Hannah Hobart Manning (Lane Manning); her great grandchild Henry Watson Manning; her grandsons, Colin Hobart Eldred (Alex Eldred) and Bradley Eldred Jr.; and her son-in-law Bradley J. Eldred (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, The United Church of Underhill Christian Education, and Westford School Library.
