He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Boardman and June Boardman (Rogers); his wife Sandy (Somers Hardware); his son Jeffrey; and his grandson Lucas Richardson.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Jr. (Jacqui Gale) of Johnson, Pamela Burkhardt (Will) of Emigrant, Montana, Randy (Sharon) of Jericho and Stephanie Richardson (Peter) of Barre; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Caleb, Cole and Maggie; his son-in-law Joe Perry; his siblings, Vivian, Gail and Greg; and his sister-in-law Linda Bongiolatti (Somers). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
