He is survived by: his wife Joanne Thompson (Heafy); his sons, Benjamin Thompson (Liz) of Olympia, WA and Eric Thompson of Olympia; his brother Chris Thompson of Middlebury, CT; his grandchildren, Rowan of Olympia and Hollis Thompson of Olympia; and his in-laws, Matt of Cheshire, CT, Barbara Heafy of Cheshire, CT, William of Cheshire, CT, Sharon Heafy of Cheshire, CT, Ellen Carroll of Costa Mesa, CA, Mark and Cheri Heafy of Milton Freewater, OR. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews on his wife.
