He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha H. Steiner (Glassman) and Charles B. Steiner; and his sister Charlotte Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Eloise M. Steiner (Connolly); his sister Rosemarie Lyman; and his children, Barbara (Stuart Coleman), Mary Steiner (John Frechette), Betty Steiner (Dave Lindberg) and Carl Steiner, Jr. of Brattleboro, VT. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great granddaughters.
