He was predeceased by: his parent Kosta Nanopoulos. He is survived by: his mother Vasiliki Nanopoulos (Kessari) of Valyra, Greece; his wife Nancy Nanopoulos of Thetford; his children, Anthony Nanopoulos (Despinia) of Lempster, MA, Nikolaos Nanopoulos of Burlington, VT, Christos Nanopoulos (Kelly) of Fairlee, VT, Kostantina Ortiz (Raymond) of Thetford and Vasilikie Iliopoulos (Yannis) of Mount Airy, NC; and his siblings, Ernie Nanopoulos of Lebanon, NH, Nick Nanopoulos of Poultney, VT, Voula Tsimikli (Taki) of Messini and Theologia Kapotis (Christos) of Woodsville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, Nieces, nephews and cousins.
