It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Durkee of Thetford, Vermont, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph H. Durkee and Beatrice Durkee (Goodrich); his wife Charlotte Eva Durkee; and his siblings, Jimmy, Heman, William, Leonard, Gene, Dorothy Sullivan, Irene Smith and Helen Hodgdon.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Leavitt (Rick) of Newport, NH, Eric Durkee (Karen) of East Thetford and Scott Durkee (Tina) of North Thetford; his grandchildren, Aaron Jordan (Kelly) of Grantham, Jeremy Durkee (Stephanie) of Windsor and Kendra Durkee; his great grandchildren, Mason, Mara Jordan, Eleanor "Ellie", Brooklyn Durkee and William Lopez; and his brothers, Kenneth Durkee of Post Mills and Howard Durkee of East Thetford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
