Bruce Fischer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Fischer of Swanton, Vermont, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bruce may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Fischer and May Fischer; his sons, Brian J. Fischer of Calais, VT and Topher B. Fischer (Jennifer Lavalley) of Swanton, VT; and his siblings, Barbara Barlow (Fischer) of Oxford, Kathy Dyer (John) of Monroe, Fletcher Fischer (Rachel) of Bloomfield Connecticut, Mark Fischer (Margaret) of Wilmington and Beth Tarde (Jerry Tarde) of Fairfield. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michaels College Chapel.
