It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Hanchett (Strafford, Vermont), born in Lyme, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 25, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hanchett and Ethel Hanchett; and his sister Wilma W. Bickford (Billy). He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Hanchett (Ward); his children, Michael R. Hanchett (Patty) of Cornish, NH, Rachel A. Claffey (Kerry J. Claffey) of South Strafford, VT, Arthur R. Hanchett (Kimberly M. Hanchett) and John J. Hanchett (Tammy L. Hanchett) of Norwich, VT; and his siblings, Eugene C. Hanchett of Latham, NY and Elisabeth M. Thresher (Betty) of Auburn, NE.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
