She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Wolfe and Betty Wolfe; her son Carl Carlson (Skip); her sister Caroline Kostanecki; and her brother-in-law Bruce Biddle.
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Carlson Aiken (Andy Aiken); her husband Jim Stead; her daughter Abby; her grandchildren, Franklin Jin and Hanna Carlson; her sister Betsy Biddle; and her nieces, Louisa Zai-Ravaris (Paul Ravaris) and Katy (Jason Watkins). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
