We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2024, at the age of 91, Herbert J. Hillman of Stowe, Vermont, born in Paterson, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert J. Hillman and Mabel Knippenberg Hillman; his wife Dorothy Ann Phillips Hillman of Scarsdale; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Carol Van Dyke (Neil), Barbara Laporte (Stefan), Mary Moen (Philip) and James Hillman (Diane); his grandchildren, Sarah, Forrest, Lia Van Dyke, Alex, Geoff Laporte, Erika, Britt, Jenna, Haley Moen, Tim, Erik and Nicole Hillman; and his great grandchildren, Mattias, Niko Hochtl, AJ, Elle Laporte, James, Boden Laporte, Sanna, Signy Christiansen, Brielle and Eli Jackson.
