She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Elizabeth Burt and Frank Carl Burt; and her husband Charlie Cushwa. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Horton (Peter) and Elizabeth Fitch; her grandsons, Will and Reed Horton; her sister Rebecca Tandy (late Bill); and her nephews, Tyler, Colin and Carter Myers. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
