He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Butler and Elizabeth Mae Willey Butler; and his significant other Lori McDurfee. He is survived by: his children, Shawna Butler (Hunter Gallipo) of Salisbury and Joshua Butler (Cathy Blake) of South Royalton; his brothers, Richard, James, William and Paul; his sisters-in-law, Sara Jane and Sue; his significant other's children, Trish, Heather and Daniel; and also, JD, Logan, Liliana, Rowan and Oaklynn. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in David's memory to the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, Vermont.
