She was predeceased by: her parents, James Childs and Dora Childs (Raymond); and her siblings, Raymond, Ailene, Evangilene and Bobby.
She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Wendy Gunther of Colchester; her daughter Shirley; her son-in-law Mark Benjamin of Traverse City; her daughter Kay; her son-in-law Greg Cromie of Winooski; her grandchildren, Scott Benjamin (Amy) of Burlington, Katie Benjamin of Traverse City, Sarah Cromie of South Burlington and Matt Cromie of Quincy, Mass.; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Summer Benjamin and Carter Voity; and her friend Connie Gill.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations in her memory to Bayada Hospice Care, 2517 Shelburne Road, Shelburne Vermont 05482.
