He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Russell Sprague and Crystal Grass Sprague. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dow; his sons, John Russell Sprague, II (Roselind) of California, Darrin P. Sprague (Stacy) of Plymouth and Shady Blackwell, III (Melissa) of Unity; his grandchildren, John Russell Sprague, Tyler, Kyle, Brady Sprague, Michael Blackwell, Melissa Sprague and Catherine Blackwell; his great grandchild Brynlee Blackwell; and his siblings, Lynn (Helene) of Nashua, NH, Gordon (Joan) of Florida, Terry (Jenny) of Madison, Dale (Terry) of California and Nancy (Merlin Newcomb) of Westfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
