He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thompson and Inez Thompson (Bidwell); his wife Jean Thompson; his siblings, Lloyd Thompson (Norma), Delbert "Bud" Thompson (Arlene), Donald Thompson (Perlene), Wayland Thompson, Thelma Simpson (Robert) and Madelene Robinson (Stephan); his siblings-in-law, Huguette Thompson and Delbert Cushing; his son-in-law Paul C. Leavitt; and his nephews, Dale Thompson and Larry Simpson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Leavitt of Williamsville, VT and Kathy Spitzschuh; his brother Richard Thompson of Sheffield, VT; his sisters-in-law, Louise Thompson of Sheffield, VT and Donna Cushing of Lee Center, NY; his grandchildren, Todd Leavitt (Mary) of Brattleboro, VT, Kirsten Leavitt (Jeremy Cote) of Waltham, MA and Michael Pitts (Leeann Coutermarch); and his great grandchild Jayce Pitts.
