He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Kempton; his half-sisters, Corinne Atkinson and Shirley Steadman; and his parents, Leonard and Annie.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel (Julie) of Peacham, Jennifer Harris of Peacham, David Kempton of St. Johnsbury, Annie (Michael Guyer) of Lyndonville and Matthew (Dawn Kempton) of Peacham; his grandchildren, Adrian Guyer (Candice) of Lyndonville, Tiffany Carr (Mike) of Danville, Christopher Harris (Heather) of Anchorage, Nicholas Guyer of Burke, Melissa Kempton of Randolph, William Kempton of Peacham, Julian Kempton (Sabrina) of Burlington, Amos Kempton (Jessica) of Worcester, Jacqueline Iannoni (Jay) of Dorchester, Miko McCormick (Cheyne) of Manchester, Dylan Kempton (Brittany) of Peacham, Hannah Harris of Brooklyn and Joshua Guyer of Lyndonville; and his great grandchildren, Bensen Carr, Chloe Kempton, Kai Harris, Piper Kempton, Ridley Harris, Emerson Guyer and Joule Kempton.
