He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carleton Harlow and Florena Vezina; his wife Marjorie; and his children, David S Harlow Jr. of New Hampton, N. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
