She was predeceased by: her husband Frederik Tier of Waldo Emerson; and her brother Robert Marchand. She is survived by: her parents, Peter Marchand and Gabriele Marchand (David); her children, Thomas Tier of Indiana and Allison Tier Kallsen of England; and her sister Eileen Powell of New Hampshire. She is also survived by two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
