He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wood and Conie Wood; and his sister Kathryn Perkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Lois Robbins (Bob) of Michigan, June Edwards (Richard) of North Carolina and Diane Wood of South Woodstock. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
