She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schimsheimer and Emma Schimsheimer (Arnold); her stepfather Eric Abraham; her husband Stewart; her brother Raymond Sims; and her pet Gizmo.
She is survived by: her brother Ray; her friends, Doris and Audrey; her children, Dennis Barr (Nancy), Curt Barr (Wendy) and Candy Barr (Brett Hersey); and her grandchildren, Clayton Bridge, Craig Bridge (Danielle), Abbie Pope (David), Jill Mitchell (George) and Chris Barr (Susie Chamberlin). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and many extended family.
