She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Percival Bates and Enna Morey Bates; her husband Daniel; her children, Patrick Malone of Maple Corners and Shannon Bates of Montpelier, VT; and her sisters, Bonnie Holmquest of Charleston, SC, Rosie Oswald of Hiawassee and Georgia. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
