He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Smith and Leah F. Smith (Cox); his wife Jacqueline L. Smith; and his brothers, Marvin and Bruce Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Jason (Kelly Smith), Heather Smith and Cowen (Andy Perkins) of Sausalito, CA; his stepchildren, Wendel "Rusty" Colbeth (Marlo) of Colchester and Margaret "Peggy" Lavigne (Mike) of Colchester; and his siblings, Donald Smith (Valley) of Lyndonville and Paula Smith of Amherst, MA..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wayne's Home (969 Leroux Rd, Lyndonville, VT 05851).
