It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Chester Bushway (South Strafford, Vermont), born in Norwich, Vermont, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Franklin Bushway and Mae Viola Eleanor Olsen; and his brother Richard O. Bushway. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mae Brown of South Strafford, VT; his daughters, Cathy Lahman of Santa Fe, NM, Judy Phelps (Michael) of East Thetford, VT, Roberta Mercer (Matthew) of South Point, OH and Rebecca Greer of Sharon, VT; his sisters, Constance Cook (Howard) of Norwich, VT and Carol Bushway of So; his grandchildren, Scott Bacon, Jason Bacon, Cooper Greer and Matthew Jiaxiang Mercer; and his great grandchildren, Thatcher Bacon and Elle Bacon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
