She was predeceased by: her parents, George Townsend and Mildred Townsend (Kingsland); and her siblings, George Townsend, Charles Townsend, Mildred Genevieve Shattuck, Laura-Etta Graf and Patricia Burke.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest G. Howe; her son Mark E. Howe; her daughter-in-law Jodi M. Howe; her children, Michael E. Howe and Marcee E. LaFromboise; her son-in-law Scott A. LaFromboise of South Royalton, VT; and her sister Ella Ballou of Quechee, VT. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
