He was predeceased by: his sister Constance Holstein. He is survived by: his wife Shohreh; his daughter Shireen Eckhardt; his son-in-law Jeffrey Trigg; his son Kiya Batmanglidj; and his pet Lynx. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
