He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert Jr. and Helen Shappy (Spine). He is survived by: his wife Patti Shappy of South Burlington; his daughters, Jennifer Swanson (Stephen) of South Burlington and Sarah McLeod of South Burlington; his siblings, Mary Lynne Bove (Bob) of Brandon, Victor Sr. Shappy (Lisa) of Rutland Town, Larry Shappy (Heather) of Rutland and Bob Shappy (Roxane) of The Villages, FL; and his grandchildren, Cole, Stella, Leo Swanson and Remi McLeod. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
