He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dezotell and Helen Dezotell (Gover); his son Philip Dezotell; his half-brothers, Herman, Philip and Andrew Gover (Constance); and his parents-in-law, Lucien Turmel, Robert Turmel, Yolande Turmel and Suzette Turmel.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Turmel Dezotell; his daughter Wendy Dezotell; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Turmel of Winooski and Henriette Turmel of Canada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
