He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Shannon and Lillian Shannon; his significant other Bonnie Buckley Shannon; his sister Betsy Powell; his children, Kevin Shannon (Lori) and Andrea Shannon; and his grandchildren, Connor, Gillian, Grayson and Blaise.

His spirit now rests proceeding a long battle with Parkinson Disease.
