He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Whitby and Suzette Francfort Chapman Bokelmann. He is survived by: his daughter Annie; his wife Nancy Ferguson Chapman of Shelburne, Vermont.; his daughter Nancy "Betsy" Chapman Patrick (Rufus Patrick) of Hinesburg; his granddaughters, Amy Patrick of Hinesburg and Margaret; his daughter Anne Gordon Chapman (Brent Gardner-Smith) of Basalt; his grandson Austin Gardner-Smith (Kelly Gardner-Smith); his daughter Miranda Whitby Chapman (Michael Albrecht) of Wellesley; his grandchildren, Alexander and Emily; and his sister Colette Chapman Ozarowski (Peter Ozarowski) of South Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dick's memory to the UVM Medical Center or another charity of your choice.
