We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Phyllis Lenow Steingard in South Burlington, Vermont, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lenow and Dora Lenow; her husband Sol Steingard; her brother Martin; her sister-in-law Mae Lenow; and her nephew Jeffrey Lenow.
She is survived by: her sister Lois Bell; her children, Ron Steingard (Abby Zonies) and Sandy Steingard (Scott Waterman); and her grandchildren, Britni Steingard, Samantha Steingard (Anuj Rao), Martha Waterman (Corey Paradis) and Donna Waterman (Tabitha Trahan). She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
She survived the pandemic on her own and, once vaccinated in 2021, she moved to Vermont.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Harris for President campaign, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the Joslin Diabetes Center, or the Quarry Hill Employee Appreciation Fund (account number 11773).
