Maria Cecelia Desrosiers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Cecelia Desrosiers of South Burlington, Vermont, born in Vergennes, Vermont, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Grenier and Mildred Grenier (Wells); her daughter Joy (Larry); her husbands, Homer Grenier (Bertha Tobin), Paul Grenier (Marjorie Hardy) and Robert Grenier (Janice Boudah); her sons, Joseph (Rhonda Lamson), Mark (Madeline Centabar), David (Brenda Mullen) and Michael (Kellie Brunelle); her grandchildren, Laura Renauld (Andy), Joseph Desrosiers (Annie Berkowitz), Andrew Desrosiers (YiChen), Danielle Winter, Sarah Stysiack (Bill), Michael Villeneuve, Daniel Desrosiers (Mercedes), Adam Desrosiers, Heather Desrosiers, Sandra Beaudoin (Chris), Elizabeth Nichelson (Cody) and Jonathon Desrosiers (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Henry, Nathan Renauld, Catherine Winter, Will, Ben Stysiack, Joseph, Elijah, Gabriella Desrosiers, Logan Desrosiers, Riker Beaudoin, Robbie Nichelson, Emily Maria Mae Nicholson and Stella Desrosiers. She was also cherished by her 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Also, a special thanks goes to the staff at Ethan Allen Residence, for their exceptional care of Maria over the last few years, particularly during the covid period.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
