Loretta Holmes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Holmes (South Burlington, Vermont), born in South Hero, Vermont, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Bushey of North Hero, VT and Dorothy Paquette of South Hero, VT.; her siblings, Robert Bushey, Claude Bushey, Garth Bushey, Floyd Bushey (Shorty), Keith Bushey, Oliver Bushey, Ruth Laura Winterbottom and Bessie Mae Hunter; and her sons, Daniel Bushey and Donald Creller.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Provost of Burlington, VT.; her grandchildren, Randy R. Creller of Harpers Ferry, WV, Sheila M. Creller of North Branford, CT and Craig M. Creller of Madison, CT; and also Nancy J. Creller of Orange, CT. She is also survived by many great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services are currently scheduled for Friday, May 8th, 2020, at 11:30am, at The New Mount Calvary Cemetery, Plattsburg Ave, Burlington, VT to be followed by a memorial reception at the St. John's Club in Lakeside from 1-3pm provided the national Covid-19 virus social distancing guidelines have been lifted.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that a donation be made in honor of Loretta Holmes to the McClure Miller Respite House, 3113 Roosevelt Hwy, Colchester, VT 05446.
