It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph E Hasazi of South Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Susan; his daughter Sarah (CJ Walsh); his parent Joe; and his sister Kris Morrison (Jeff). He was also cherished by numerous cousins and nieces; as well as the many friends.
Even as the disease and treatment wreaked their havoc and the pandemic required Joe to quarantine, he remained positive and was a source of joy and connection for his family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joe's name to the ACLU, an organization doing great work on issues important to him, including disability rights, racial justice, and immigration.
