It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Cecile Peterson of South Burlington, Vermont, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Waldemar and Ruby Viola Peterson (Collins); and her brother James A. Peterson. She is survived by: her siblings, Jack C. Peterson (Glenrose) of Springfield, MO and Gloria G. Healy (Albert) of Jonesborough, TN; her sister-in-law Neysa M. Peterson of Knoxville, TN.; and her nieces and nephews, Sherry Keller (Ray), Kathleen Minor (Scott), Susan Troop (Todd), Faith Giedd (Ryan), Paul Peterson (Anne) and John Peterson (Nola). She is also survived by several grand-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
