With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Short of South Burlington, Vermont, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 4, 2020 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hugh Short to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Marion Sauer and Peggy Short. He is survived by: his wife Florence Short; and his children, Frank, Helen Short of St. Albans, Michael Short of Burlington, Katie Bell of Grass Valley, Maureen Short, Stan Katz of New Haven, Peter Short of Reseda, Mariellen, Matthew Facchino of San Jose, Maria Short of Fletcher, Christine Short of South Burlington, Eileen Short of St. Thomas, U. S, Julia, Scott Batdorff of Portland, Ore and Deirdre Short of St. Thomas, U. S. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
