He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, William Brooks and Clara Brooks; and his brothers, Lincoln and William.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald, Sandra and David; his children-in-law, Penny, Karen and Bruce; his caregiver Hilton; and also Bruce Cote. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
