He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Ferris (Martin) and Edward Ferris; and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his wife Ginnie (Battin); his sister Elizabeth Sagan; his nieces and nephews, Marty Ferris (Pam Cary) of Ferrisburgh, Vt. and Bruce Ferris (Kathy) of Jupiter, Fla.; his grandchildren, Patrick Ferris (Kate) and Kelly Mineaux Nigro (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Peter, Georgia and Theodore.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Vergennes Lions Club.
