She is survived by: her brother-in-law Prof; her children, Anne Hooker Outwater of Dar, Salaam, Tanzania, Catherine Boe Colby of West Covina, California, Alice Brookfield Outwater (Robert Brennan Lang) of Ignacio, Colorado and John Ogden Outwater (Eileen Zhang Outwater) of Boston Massachusetts; and her grandchildren, Samuel Outwater Lang, Arthur Boe Colby and John Jacob Outwater. She is also survived by husband and supportive children and friends.
