He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl "Gib" and Margaret Madeline Violette (Murphy); his son Jeffrey Peter Violette; and his siblings, Joseph Violette, Bernie Violette and Elizabeth Anne Violette.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Violette (Gilbert) of South Barre; his children, Daniel Violette, II (Marcia) of South Barre, Shawn Violette of Orange and Amy Ducharme (Dan) of Barre Town; and his grandchildren, Logan Cole Violette, Molly Margaret Violette and Abigail Elizabeth Violette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
