She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Swinton and Janet Swinton (Larrabee); her sister Peggy Clark; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Keyes and Fred Belenger.
She is survived by: her son Edwin S. James (Stacy) of Shoreham; her grandchildren, Sumner, Rachel Andrews of Hyde Park, Sully Andrews (Kayleigh) of South Burlington and Sophie Benoit of Shoreham; her great grandchildren, Adella, Asher, Addison, Daxton, Evelyn, Josie and Hansen; her sisters, Bobbie Swinton of Burlington, Audrey Keyes of Bridport, Cindy Belenger of Monkton and Louise Richmond (David) of Essex; her siblings-in-law, Sandra Adams (Joy Livingston) of Hinesburg, Jenny Purinton of Utah, Larry Clark of Shoreham and Dan James (Ginny) of Wisconsin; and her pet Dewey.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shoreham Congregational Church.
