He was predeceased by: his parent Paul C. Shortsleeve, Sr.; his wife Catherine LaBelle Shortsleeve; his children, Mary Shortsleeve and George Porky Shortsleeve; his brother Paul Shortsleeve; and his daughter-in-law Gladys Shortsleeve.
He is survived by: his parent Alice M. Allen; his daughter Denise Beebe (Doug) of East Dorset; and his sister Margaret Ahlquist of South Carolina. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grand children, four great-great grandchildren.
