He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Franzgrote. He is survived by: his wife Amy Douglas; his children, Merula Franzgrote (Gregory Marshall) and Christoph Franzgrote (Ellen Keel); his grandchildren, Hannah Marshall, Ben Marshall, Maya Marshall and Clara Franzgrote; his sister-in-law Helenn Franzgrote; and his parents, Joseph Franzgrote and Romaine Franzgrote.
