He is survived by: his children, Thornton J. Machia Jr. (Julie), Debora J. McDade (Joe), Regina Machia (Darrell Meyer), Samantha and Shalee Turner; and his brother Donald Machia (Marjorie Ward). He is also survived by great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
