It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Max Achenbach of Shelburne, Vermont, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hans Achenbach and Mary Hill Achenbach; his friend Kathy Gage; his children, Gretchen Achenbach (Kenneth Barron) and Christopher Achenbach (Heidi Achenbach); his grandchildren, Bethany, Ian Barron, Ella and Ryan Achenbach; and his brother John Achenbach (Susan Young). He was also cherished by his family, friends.
