She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Isaac Staples and Freda Grace Staples (McCosco); and her husband Santiago Gomez, Jr.. She is survived by: her sisters, Kay White (late Arnold "Pete") of Connecticut and Martha Tanner (Brad) of Florida; and her children, James Gomez of Vermont, Tom Gomez (Debbie) of Florida and Peggy Beauchemin (Mark) of Vermont. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
