She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Waldo Ries and Florence Ries; her husband Charles Skolfield; her daughters, Emily Skolfield (Roy Knight) and Susan Huston; her grandchildren, Keith, Caitlin, Adam Huston and Christopher Knight; her sister Virginia Ries Shimer Starling; her nephews, Donald Shimer Jr. and Peter Shimer; and her cousin Stanley Ries.
