It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Carrano of Shelburne, Vermont, born in China, Maine, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Craig and Edwina Craig (Colley); her former husband Ramon Carrano; her son Clifford Carrano; her brother Maynard Craig; her siblings-in-law, Caroline Craig, Michael Carrano and Martha Mirabella (Charles); and her close friends, Dean Stevens and Rudy Hirss.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Carrano (Cindy) of Williston, Vermont and Cindy Hayford (Buddy) of Wilmington, Vermont; her grandchildren, Kate Hayford (Joseph Aiello) of Quincy, MA, Scott Hayford (Erin Philipson) of Rochester, NY, Kasey Kilburn (Mindy) of Williston, Vermont and Trever Kilburn (Emily) of Farmington, Connecticut; her great grandchildren, Reese, Stihl Kilburn, Jackson and Rhett Kilburn; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Craig and Dee Carrano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and some very special friends.
